ELDERS CATTLE EXPORT APPROVAL & IMPORT PERMIT WELCOME NEWS – PGA

The Pastoralists and Graziers Association (PGA) President Rob Gillam has welcomed the news that livestock exporter Elders has received its first export approval and import permit from the Australian and Indonesian governments.
“This announcement is tremendous news and we look forward to seeing the first shipment of cattle to occur as early as the second week of August.”
“This will be the first shipment of cattle to Indonesia since the suspension was lifted three weeks ago.”
“This should lead the way for other exporters to receive their approvals and allow for a steady resumption of the trade and provide the WA cattle industry with assurance that the trade will continue.”
