This event brings together key pastoral industry members, government representatives and allied industry members into one location to hear of important industry matters.

Leanne Corker, the newly appointed Chairman of the Pastoral Lands Board, will address the PGA Pastoral Conference on her vision and views on the future of the pastoral industry.

The issue of World Heritage listing being proposed at Ningaloo and in the Kimberley is most important to our members and we have confirmed Libby Mattiski, Council Member of the Australian Heritage Council and invited The Hon Donna Faragher, Minister for Environment, to outline what has been proposed and the assessment process.

Lynne Bradshaw, President RSPCA WA will also be in attendance after lunch to give members an update on the RSPCA Campaigns.

Other speakers on the day include Michael Finucan, Manager – Live Exports MLA who will present an update on Live Export and Allister Watson, Coles General Manager of Merchandise Meat will give a Retailer's Perspective on the Consumer’s Requirements for Meat,  Kevin Mancini, Investigation & Enforcement Branch from the Dept Mines & Petroleum will give a presentation on how they can assist Pastoralists in enforcing Regulations for Mining on Pastoral Leases.
